Overview:

Turning a standard remote controlled ceiling fan into an internet controlled ceiling fan. A spare remote was purchased from eBay and wired to a Particle Photon micro controller using a few transistors. Using Tasker for Android and Particle’s web APIs, I can control my fan speed and light from anywhere in the world, including from my Pebble Time smartwatch.
