Overview:

Living in the Bay Area, commute traffic can be a real pain. To try and dial in an ideal time to leave for/from work, I created an automated commute time tracker to gather data on when traffic starts to disperse. My phones automatically records the start/stop time and location of my commute when I connect to the Bluetooth in my car. This data is sent to a Google spreadsheet where the raw data is processed and flagged with additional information like direction, shift, and day of the week before being plotted.
